speedy problem had it ages

    Replaced engine, piston, head and barrel, crank seals, carb, reed valve, all gaskets and still does the same thing. Anyone have a clue at all im out of ideas :confused:cratch: Thanks

    it runs on half rev but all it does is splutter then blow air out exhaust which kills it

    if youve replaced all of the stuff you said above, then its definetly a wiring fault, check the loom and replace it

    there is a wire unplugged but im sure its for an alarm, just a single red and black cable with a bullet connector, i never had this on my other engine

    hmm, i doubt that would be it have you changed the CDI? id definetly try that

    not got the money but my cdi should be fine, worked before i ceased my engine and just bolted another straight in and it wont work.

    aparrently needs a new piston again :? looks brand new to me apart from it has one good ring and one bad ring on it, the top ring is new and the bottom is old and worn, ( damaged a ring by accident) barrel is lightly scored but should still run. Any ideas as wiring is all fine and cdi is fine?

    Not saying it's necessarily the primary cause, however I'd re-ring it anyway as you know it's not right.
