hi ive got a speedfight 2 and want to know what else i can buy to make it faster without getting a 70cc kit at the moment ive changed exhuast - leo vince tt Up jetted carb Different clutch springs Rollers was wondering will a variator make any difference or what else can i buy just to make it a bit quicker thanks
Reeds will improve throttle response, speedfights standard de restricted arent exactly a slow bike anyway! Try a new belt aswell, I wouldnt go for kevlar as they make a big mess inside the tranny housing. Bigger carb, speedfights are 12.5mm gurnter, try a 17.5mm (you'll need a manifold). Thing is your on borderline between performance and reliabilty, if you want a quicker bike then a bigger bore is the answer. Like having a 1.2 corsa, no point modifying anything, then again if you have a 1.8, your got more play to mess about with, if you get me?
Get the 70's kit. It's THE single most cost effective power increase you will ever find. Any reason why you've ruled it out?
