i had a letter from the police yesterday and i was caught by a speed camera doing 50 in a 30 mph zone...at half 4 on a saturday i know its stupid getting caught in the first place and i shouldnt of been going 50. do you think i will lose my licence or 3 points and a fine? i have accepted everything and been totally honest on the form. Cheers. ~Zenny
If you were doing 60mph in a 30 then I think that would be an instant ban for driving double the speed limit. Why would you want to ride that fast in a 30 zone? you want to die or something lol?? Since you were doing 50 you may still only get 3 points, but expect to get 6 points. If your on L plates your licence will be taken away and you will need to do your cbt again, but no ban. I got caught doing 38 in a 30 and got 3 points.
i got done for doin 44 in a 30 and only got 3 points and a £60 fine didnt see the van  ahh well iaccepted asll responsibility? so i shoudl i done wrong and its obviously up to the police what there decision is?
well, if your 16 and it go's to court you will be banned.. your not allowed to go over 30 (legally) expect minimum of 3 points, 6 if it was a school zone.. insurance will be 3 times asmuch next year. bear in mind, not seing a camera and getting a fine/points is BETTER than not seing a toddeler run out into the road.. could have kiled somone from the same laps of concentration... yet people winge about restricted speed... stick to the speed limits.. keep safe (thats you but more importantly everyone around you)
you should of found a real name and address in SOUTHERN ireland than say you THINK it was this person riding. and because this person lives in southern ireland the authorities cant do a thing about it. bit late now but maybe next time lol
or plain pay attention to the roads YOU ride down.. i know every school, doctors, old peoples home, junction, roundabout, pothole and most importantly speed camera on every journey i make, if i dont i pay EXTRA attention.. fwhat more can you say? gonna ride a bike? pay attention!!
