Hi all juust posting about my sppedfighter 2 100 when the other day I changed the exhaust (standard) for a tecnigas sports exhaust. ive changed the main jet from a 86 to a 94 using the 10% rule, but when im riding she will only go upto about 45.everything else is standard, and was better with the standard exhaust as I used to get 55 out of that and 60 on a good day. just cant understand why it has,nt improved. I was going to put lighter rollers in but I was told that I did,nt need to. any ideas out there......... :beg:
Lighter rollers would probably be a good idea. It's worth trying anyway. Not sure if the tecnigas 100 exhausts come restricted like the 50 ones do.
ok, ive put in 8.5 rollers taken her up the road for a ride to see if theres any differance and yes the pickup is a little quicker as expected but im still only getting about 45-50 just on a straight and it rev's higher too, while riding which again i think is down to the lighter rollers. I was getting that sort of speed on a standard pipe, so may just have a look at the end can as in take it off to see if it is restricted....!!
