Speedfight troublesome clutch nut!!

    Hi. Any ideas on how i can get the clutch nut undone on my Speedfight? I don't have an impact wrench. Have tried sitting on seat with brakes on while someone tackles it with a socket and long bar, but it's not budging at all. Need to get the clutch drum off to replace the clutch springs and hopefully get my ped moving!! Thanks

    youll need some sorty of clamp to go aorund the clutch bell and hold it in place, or buy a clutch locking tool

    Hi. Managed to borrow an impact wrench yesterday. Got the nut off and replaced my clutch springs. Still no different. The clutch pads don't seem to be engaging the clutch drum for some reason.... They aren't worn. Stills loadsa life left in them.

    should check the bell for warping, look around the inside to see if its got a blue/purple tint to the metal.
    maybe the springs are too stiff?
    have you checked your rollers? you might want lighter ones
