well my mate picked up this speedfight for a tenner on an xreg so plans are to use the 100 engine i have got going to give it a full rebuild new bearings head piston the works

Maybe some vivactiy forks sticking with the white wheels already got a white rear wheel with tyre for £20 only parts missing were ht lead and coil, fuel sensor, petrol cap, few nuts and bolts which he picked up from breakers for £10 thinking of an orange and white colour scheme got any ideas let me know and i will keep it updated untill we finished

 

seen this ride past mine before? looks nice and sounds well

 

Why was it bought for only a tenner :mod:

 

bike are cheap round here, i paid £10 for my dragster

 

yer and the lad he bought it off only paid £100 for it then he rode it then exhaust broke off se he stripped it and got a car now so he sold it my mate for a tenner lol

well ordered all new bearings and gaskets for the 100 rebuild in the middle of polishing the engine cases going for white and gold paint scheme can any1 help with the blue adapter i thnk its for the ht lead but my m8s speedshyt jut has 2 spade ends connecting it

few pics cus we was bored lol

 

looks like the temp sender off the head...pull the U clip out, slot it on and re-insert the clip...sorted :thumbsup:

 

THERE ISNT A TEMP SENSOR AS ITS AIR COOLED THE ONLY THING MISSING FROM THE WIRING LOOM IS THE HT COIL AND LEAD WHICH I HAVE BOUGHT BUT IT NEEDS TWO SPADE ENDS TO ATTATCH TO IT SO STILL STUCK

 

yeah thats for the temp sender as said aboce my mate has air cooled speedy and its on there just tucked away compared to my mates WC which it in the head

 

ok peepz cheers i will try and find the wires for the ht lead tomorow now that weve got that sorted

 

ok just bin out to have look and took pics of the wires that have nuffing attatched to them can anyone help as we rebuilding the engine on monday so need to get the ht lead done by then

when he bought it the lad had recently payed £100 for a cdi that bypasses the imobiliser so we have that fitted .

just noticed the 2 block connectors left are for the magneto and starter motor so still stuck on the ht lead

 

got some parcels thew the post this morining just waiting for little end bairing to arrive so can rebuild the engine
