just a quick question: well my gauge says i have more petrol that whats in the tank like the other day i had run out of petrol but it was saying i had a quater of a tank left n i took the sender unit out n moved the float up and down and it went to zero but dont seem to go to zero whilst in the tank do you think it could be just the way it sits in the tank or if its bent or something

Mines never entirely accurate, try and find a local breaker and get one, I've seen em for like £45 new

lol well i just keep checking the fuel in the tank n when it starts running a bit shit its usually an indication that its about to stop

prob the best option tbh but thought it was a bit weird that when i took it out of the tank it went to full n empty no probs but in the tank the only time its goes to empty is when the ignition is turned off
