Hey guys, ive upgraded my speedy but now im not to keen on the braking, its got those silly little disc's on the front, they really struggle to stop me.
Is there any type of oversized brake i can get for it ?
Dont no if you could as its a single sided arm?
    Links woould be handy.
    Thankx

are these better disc's to improve stopping?
    Are they any bigger?

Plus if i brough a disc it would come with an adaptor ?

bleed your breaks... tiny breaks on scoots still stop from high speeds, just means you have to squeeze harder. i have no trouble locking the front wheel of a typh up and thats got a suspiciously small disc also.. bigger disks an better calipers are an option, but your break should be able to stop you hapily

yeah bigger disks don't give you better braking, better calipers and better brake pads do though

On my Zip SP race bike I run the standard master cylinder / standard caliper / standard disc / MHR sintered pads and a Venhill braided hose with good fluid.

That stops the bike time and time again from 80+ in racing conditions no problem.

befor anyone starts, sinterd pads arnt really any good for road use (more for hard breaking ALOT of the time..repeatedly) ebc greens dont take time to heat up, dont need to keep them hot ether (sinterd you REALLY have to use to keep em working)

but ye, point proven, standard breaks on a race bike.. upgrade to a braided hose, fresh fluid and disc/pad's and it should be more than enough to lift the back up, what more do you need LOL
