Speedfight Exhaust Mount or lack of one!

    Dear all,
    I'm at my wits end trying to fix this problem. I now know that Speedfights have a common problem with the exhaust mounts on the crank casing shearing off. I Can't afford the ridiculous amount it costs to replace the casing.
    Has anyone made a bracket to mount the exhaust back on?????

    My 50cc has had it welded back on, do that if you have the part. My 100cc's one is broken and is only held on by the top part with thread lock and nylocs!

    Cheers. I have considered welding it but have heard that the alloy is a pig to get welded...
