speedfight 70cc setup need help please comment

hello there I have a speedfight 2 2003
at the moment my setup is ;
Stage 6 Sport 70cc
Hebo performa Pipe
polini speedcontrol variator 7.7 grams rollers
standared clutch and torgue drive
17.5 carb with 88 jet
doppler airfilter
at the moment my moped goes 65 if I lay down and atkes a massive long road to get to that
please can you tell me what I can add or change to my setup to make my 70cc bore pump out it's max bhp and go 70 mph
I do not want to change my bore or variator

a gear up mate, you wont be going anymore on standard gearing, either that or your engine will melt. im yet to see a fast speedfight get some videos of yours mate if it is.

 

well if you don't want to change your bore your not going to get much more out of it im afraid.
instead of sport, switch to stage 6 racing, or get the malossi mhr rep, pair it with a powerful exhaust and you'll be laughing.
but i had the stage 6 sport on my speedfight, and i loved it! ......but it never was quite as fast as it could be.
i've just rebuilt a speedy engine, with a pm tuning crank and will be building my project on that.
to be honest though, my standard crank didnt last long with my 70 kit on so you should be careful and think about that before you go any further with your tuning.

 

Theres rumours going around the S.A forum that speedys have rev limited c.d.i's...

 

They do . my mate hit 65 on his 100 .. and was screaming and it just died pushed it 2 miles and it started again ... newbold-runner on here was on his bros went down a610 doing about 60/65 again and it just cut out there stupidly crap.
