speedfight 50 inlet port

    i know speedfight 50s arent the most powerful but i might aswell make the most of what ive got. would cutting out the little divider in the intake port give any performance gains? and would there be a risk of f-ing it up? cheers.

    assuming you are going to fit a 70cc kit 1st...and

    without 1st sorting out the restrictive inlet manifold,reed block and carb size, then
    improving the case entry will be worthless really...

    im sticking with the 50 for now, and ive already got a better manifold and 17.5mm carb and gonna get a vreed kit soon. :)

    If your going for the v-reed block option and you have the cases apart then removing any obstruction in the inlet (the divider) and a bit of flowing will help.
    Would`nt risk any cutting and grinding of that inlet unless you can be sure non of the material is going to find it`s way into the engine, hence the cases apart suggestion.
