hi I currently have a Peugeot speedfight 4 2stroke air cooled 66 plate with 800 miles and still restricted. Pulled it out the garage today to go to work and it wouldn’t actually start then I tried kickstarting it and it would power up then go dead. I have checked fuel and 2-stroke and they are both full. And ideas before I send it off to a mechanic??
Might sound daft but might be worth checking your exhaust lugs haven't come loose as I've had this with my speedfight 4 and caused a similar problem. Also might be worth checking your spark plug. Mine was running really really rich and if yours is, that will be exasperated with the warm weather.
