Hello All, My lad has a speedfight 3 2014 totally bog standard and im looking to get a little more speed as the 34mph is not safe on UK roads! I have ordered a tecnigas exhaust for it to help with the restrictions in the exhaust Standard main jet is a 54 so i have looked and people say 10% added just for the exhaust so i am ordering a 58 & 60 main jet for this? Standard rollers are 16x13 8Gram rollers so i was going to order 6Gram rollers aswell..? Can anyone tell me if this sounds correct? Kind Regards!
Make sure you take the restrictor cone out the mouth of the new pipe, unless it's already been done. You might do better ordering the box of 10 jets from somewhere like racing planet, more options. Jetting is a tedious but necessary process when tuning; keep it on the rich side, keep an eye on the plug colour. You are aiming for a nice ginger biscuit colour; too white is too lean, too black is too rich.
