Hello everyone. Can anyone help in determining if my speedfight once had an immobiliser fitted. A previous owner had wired in a 5 pin cdi in conjunction with the 8 pin dellorto fitted as standard. I replaced stator, coil, rectifier and cdi unit and still no spark. I removed the plastics from the steering column and there is no sign of a immobiliser unit, only the crudely spliced wires connecting the 5 pin cdi. Is there any way I can determine if it did have an immobiliser via registration or loom? Thanks.

Steve, could you put the wiring diagram up to show how you bypassed the original cdi please? The wiring loom appears to be a non immobiliser model but it might have been removed in past. I have just purchased another 5 pin cdi to replace the old one. The 8 pin dellorto, stator and rectifier are new also. When this rain finally stops am going to try again!
