Errm right I have a speedfight2 50cc ac, it is derestricted and has a Leo Vince TT racing exhaust on, is there any way I can make it faster or get better acceleration without buying a 70kit? Thanks!

    (P.S does 40 on flat 45 downhill and (50 if it's a big hill)

What will that do ? Increase acceleration or just top speed? Thanks for quick reply!

both as you are putting more fuel into the engine

Malossi or Polini. Do not get one with the face that has got that stupid grippy surface on it to supposedly help grip the belt better, it shreds the belt quicker instead.
When ordering the variator tell them you already have the TT exhaust and they will send the correct weighted rollers with it

After that, it is the 70cc kit and the gear-up kit

every mod you do will gain a little more power, it all depends on how the rest is set up. Jetting, roller weights, gearbox, exhaust etc

You are going to struggle to get more than 50 MPH out of a 50cc bike. A 70cc kit may add another 5 to 10 MPH to that but you are better off with a 125cc if you want more than that. The more you tune up a bike, the more you stress the engine and the standard crankshaft will only take so much before it breaks.

thanks guys! I think I am just gonna buy a bigger carb and a new variator. think I will not bother with 70kit as I am not majorly bothered about messing with it too much as I just want it to last me till I can get a bigger bike! (save my money I think and put it towards a 125!) thanks again for your replys!

Just a thought, Why spend money on a new variator and carb if you want to save for a 125, better off running it standard, 45 down hill is decent. I have a chinese scoot, which does pretty much the same sorta speeds as standard, 40 on the flat, 45 down hill, 50 down a big hill near my house. It's derestricted, but other than that running as standard with bog standard £30 exhaust from redcircles.

I too am trying to save for a 125. I'm probably gunna keep my current scoot as it is, to keep stress on engine and crank minimal therefore it will last as long as possible, and hopefully be in as good a condition as its in now when I come to sell and upgrade.

I have considered a 70 kit and gear up kit, but my funds limit me to a basic ebay £35 70 kit.. may as well stick to the 50cc head.

My advice is fiddle with rollers clutch springs and torque spring, possibly get a decent variator. Just experiment for a while and see if you can get it right. All part of the fun too.

All depends on your funds, how much you wanna spend of a 50 before upgrading, how long you intend to own it etc..

remember, top speed on a 50cc generally depends on what you ate for breakfast!
