Hey there, my names kieran and i live in plymouth. ive had my speedfight 2 50cc LC for a while now. and it has changed a fair bit in the time i have had it. it is running a gainelli reverse pipe, Pm tuning race clutch with red springs, medium weight rollers, carbon race reeds and a kevlar drive belt. and i have had a speeding ticket for 54 mph! All work has been done by me with help from my dad. its all been done on a budget, has never been into a garage apart from the mot. so, here it is.. all comments appriciated, good and bad! Hope you enjoy. kieran. the day i got it: then the work started, first on the list.. a re-spray! all painted and built! Let the modding start! First on my list, naked bars! but as i couldnt afford real renthals and conversion stem, Trekker naked bars fitted! also, couldnt afford digi speedo's, so i cut the origional speedo's out of there casing and made a bracket! this is how it stood for a few months! Fitted some neons, but soon after got pulled and told to take them off! Got myself a pillion passenger Then i decided to hit a dead badger at 45mph, and hit the floor hard, smashed a hole in the back left pannel, broke my speedo, and ruined the paint! and again, due to the budget had to do it myself! so got some filler and spray paint and spent a few days doing this! also, got a speedo and surroundings from the local breakers for a fiver and re made my speedo and... whilst my bike was off of the road for a few days, i "borrowed" some plastic from school and made myself an undertray!;D The hole: slapped some filler on it! After some sanding! added some more filler and re-sanded it, then sprayed it.. unfortunatly i didnt take any progress pics.. but this is the finished product! then this is how it stood for a few more months! Cut a star into my undertray and fitted my neon behind it.. the other two stars are vynal stickers i made! Then after a while, i found a good quality push bike speedo to use on my ped, so fitted that, only cost me a tenner! Green back light on it too... records my millage, average speed, top speed, useage.. everything!!! So this is how it stood for a few days! until i made myself some stickers!;D and took the mirrors off! So yeah, thats how it stands at the moment! only had it 7 months, and not spent very much at all! Go black with the wheels with white rim tape also get a tyre pen and mark up the brand of your tyres. Looks pretty good that.
