hi got good compression/spark /fuel in fact it is soaking the plug before it has chance to fire it was running well but it wouldnt tick over and was very wooly at low revs any ideas cheers tim
Sounds exactly what mine was like before it blew a ring and shot the skirt off the piston mate :/ mine had good compression so no one thought it was the piston, but it is worth checking
its overfuelling. Check the jets are clear and the float height is set right. $ strokes give the same effect when the emulsion toobs are worn (bog down at the bottom end due to too much fuel from tickover til it gets going )
Cheers mate I'll check that in the morning, and by the float you mean the carb float not the fuel float in the petrol tank?
