im pretty sure you can buy one for a runner engine, but does the speedfight frame have a mount for a second shock?

Closest thing i can think of for another shock is the exhaust mount thing they use as standard on vxs. Doubt it would bolt straight on to a 2t though. Havent seen your speedy but if it was me id just spend the time improving the single shock and how it mounts which alot of people overlook with these..

im going to remove the original mount on the speedy and fabricate two shock mounts, hoping this will be twice as strong to handle a high power 183cc engine, ill have to have a look around for one or maby moddify the 4stroke if possible.. i could stick with the single shock but im abit worried i might put too much strain on it.

The shock mounts on piaggio frames are all just sheet metal tbh and i havent heard of those going wrong ever and everyone (apart from them^) with a 125-183 is using only 1 shock. Getting the shock to mount at the right angle is easily twice as important as a beefy top mount or second shock imo.

Generally twin shocks is not needed i dont reckon but not a bad thing to have if youve got the time/money i guess..

I dont know whats involved in getting a VX swingarm on but its probs the cheapest/simplest option id have thought. If i was gonna do it i would use a TSAB or BGM swingarm and get that modded to take another custom bracket (something like a jackup) for the shock. Expensive but probs the nicest looking option imo and most effective.
