I know its been done. But are there any Speedys out there which have been done well. I.E, Not having a stupidly angled rear end? A conversion that looks like it should have come straight from the factory. Just interested really. Always fancied building one when I was into scooters but the Stage6 conversion kit wasn't available back then, And I wasn't as mechanical as I am now, So couldnt fab it myself. Ben
yea thers 2 in the project pages have a look cant remember who they wer by but 1 was particularly good looked like any old stock speedy 2 untrained eye
i take it back it seems theyve been deleted or im just blind but all it is is a matter of moving shock mount back and engine angle will be better and shock wont look like its gna snap when it comes 2 a speed bump
Funny how people never forget that gilly feeling  Minge, Ive Seen two i can think of on this forum that looked quite stock. Need to ask owners how they ride/handle though . Im sure you can sort it anyways if you can fabricate yourself.
That Speefight is stunning! I still thing it's the best looking scooter around. And with 20bhp of 172 lump in it. Happy days!
it handles ok with the standard front end tbh. i just got the wheel balanced up . it used 2 shake before i got it dun. just baught the 172 kit. and malossi crank off a mate. and av got 25mm carb. should be good 2 see how it performs. lighter than a runner on the front end. should be an intresting ride lol  .
Those two bikes were the ones I was on about LOL You got your wheel balanced ? Smart thinking, dont think anybodys suggested that before to cure shaking
I had to balance my front wheel on my old Speedfight 70 because of its top speed. Which was aprox 70mph. Ben
