    Hi new owner question - speedfight 100 air-cooled 1998 - on recommisioning for the summer battery dead , new battery fitted , no spark ! New ignition coil fitted still no spark - immobiliser light flashes - could the cdi/immobiliser unit have packed up

    Sounds that way. Is it easy to disconnect the immobiliser?

    no no no no no........

    I posted the work around for this. It gets rid of the immobiliser so you don't have to fart about with changing everything like the ignition barrel, key, cdi immobiliser unit when it all goes tits up.
