Speedfight 100 - No Spark...

Got a speedfight 50 with a 100 engine that i've just rebuilt (crank, the lot). It's got 50cc wiring on it but 100cc CDI + Matching ignition. i've got it all back together and it wont spark, the immobiliser light turns off when i turn on the ignition and the engine turns over. I've tried different spark plugs and even tried my spare coil pack.

Anyone got any ideas why it won't spark?

 

Could be stator or cdi

 

The CDI is brand new and the light goes out on dash so i know it's not that. Got a stator on the way now, seeing if it cures it. Made sure i was extra careful with it though putting it in so idk how i've managed to damage it

Is your coil earthed properly?

 

there is a cheap way to replace cdi's on pug 100s .. can use a derestricted 50 cdi and wire it straight in.. £30 cant complain!.
