Hello everyone, here’s the problem. My speedfight 100 seems to run poorly (top speed wise) when the tank is full of petrol, but when there is next to no petrol in the tank it seems to go a lot faster?

it’s not a problem as such but would like to know what the cause of this is?, the jets in the carb have anything to do with it?, when i purchased my scooter i saw in the ad that he had an aftermarket air filter on the scooter, so i presume he changed the jets in the carb, but when i bought it, it had the standard air filter, but still had the larger jets in the carb i presume?

Any advice would be much appreciated!

    Connor.

only possible reason is the added weight of the fuel (which is not much) tbh

the fuel pump pulls fuel through at the same rate whether its full or nearly empty. its unlikely its jet related but you might aswell make sure its the right one anyway tbh

Standard mainjet should be an 83 according to the Haynes manual if you need it.
