Spec up list, opinions on parts or better parts you can recommend...

Right first up yes its a 4 Stroke I'm tuning so if the comments going to be along the lines of..
"Get a 2 stroke" or "why not get a 100 or 125 engine"
Politley as I can put it just don't bother as your obviously not going to get what the challenge I've set myself is about.
...sorry but I get a bit fed up of it off people

Right now thats out of the way the challenge I've set myself is to build a sub 85cc 4 stroke scooter... why? because I can do.... the Scooter thats getting the treatment is a Piaggio Zip 50 4T one of the slowest around

Only thing that stands out is the polini 9 roller variator which is more hassle than its worth to set up IMO and worth changing to the 6 roller one (super speed i think it is?) if they do them for 4Ts. I'd maybe do away with some of the other expensive transmission parts for cheaper stuff aswell (S6 etc) just because its not gonna be overly powerful as you said but thats probs just me being cheap..

Its a good spec though and should be a nice little bike either way and I genuinely wanna see this get built

 

Yea I was under the same opinion myself with the polini 9 and to add to that theres more rollers that need to be bought too think I may go with the Doppler S2BR as they fit.

Glad you get what I'm doing it will get built parts will be rolling in in the next few weeks, going to collect them all before I fit them all up

 

Yes but if we apply the same logic to say a runner 172 or somthing along them lines and counted the money spent on them look what could have been bought

Its good to be diffrent an when it comes to tuning all of us could have spent money on somthing better, but the funs about tinkering and thinking outside the box

 

Yea not to worry on them parts they where possible purchases depending on how it rides cheers for the input
