Speedfight 4 comes fitted with a CR6EB from the factory. This is not an aftermarket part so the bike has gone in for its first service and has been fitted with a CR7EB a cooler plug. Is this correct, I can get a CR6E without the terminal cap on it but then the plug cap will have to be changed. The bike had been deristricted via the variator washer but nothing else. Will the deristriction warrant a cooler plug or shouId I still use a CR6 and see if I can get the screw on terminal caps for the plug from somewhere. Thoughts please I dont want to be riding around with the wrong plug in. Thanks

Not sure if people really do this with mopeds, but i know with some of the smaller engines, people actually swap out spark plugs depending on the weather, in winter they have a hotter plug and a cooler one in summer. I doubt you will have any problems with a cooler plug. I presume its only a small difference. If you had a hotter plug put in, it could be a problem, but i cant see it with a cooler plug. As long as its all running fine, it should be good. If you're worried, mention it to the place it got serviced.
