spark plug issues

there is a ngk r in my piaggio nrg 2005 ac atm but this guide says i need br9es instead of br9ecs which is in there now is this guide correct

Just a variant of the BR9 plug afaik. Just means the tip is a different material for example iridium is BR9EX etc. Shouldnt be much different than the recommended one its the same heat range and the like.

so can be replaced with br9es just the ecs has a different tip
