Sound Louder

Hi i want to make my performance exhaust sound louder as its fairly quiet and a i like the loud sound you CAN get from them :w00t:

Ive tryed re-packing it many times but it only seems to be loud for 10-20 then it go's back to being quite , so i just wondered if i took out the packing and then on the baffle welded up say 50% of the holes would it make it sound louder without affecting the performance ?

put a straighthrough bit of copper pipe through the end can if you really want noise lol

 

cut it in half.

no i mean the whole exhuast.

 

take some wadding out the end can. thats what i did i took half of it out and left half in.

 

What and that made it sound louder ?
I thought the more wadding you had in the louder it is .

 

nah its the other way round. i got a point where i had no wadding in it at all lol. it sounded bit silley so i put just under half of it back in now sounds mint.
