right who wants to come fix this for me? Started today for about 3-4mins idleing responding to little revs as it should job was a good en (fitted new new ht lead and airbox) but now it STILL wont fucking start. the spark is great tbh, we thought it was this problem at first but im starting to think not, sparks good. engines just had a full rebuilt so it aint compression. so it has to be my carb setup, plugs are coming black but what can i adjust on the carb for idle? if anyone around barnsley wants to come help wouldnt half appreciate it
check for delivery to the carb then standardise the settings (book figures) if it dont run somones not built it right
right ill pick this up cos ive seen it now. played with idel mix and needle last night revs up good as it should but after a few minn the light flickers and the bike cuts out and wont start. i seem to think its the stator or something in the wireing
cdi has stripped wires earthing once it builds current? could be a bad engine earth.. could be a fucked rec. check for any rubbing on the wires (usually blue at the connector block gets rubbed up/fucked) if all the wiring seems ok change everything one by one. :up:
yeah me and andy went other day and had a look. deffo electrical. said check all the wiring for knackered wires etc. he probs been in the garage since stripping the wiring lol
indeed i have lol, and didnt find anything so bought a full loom this morning on the bay hopefully, i can get back on the road once fitted
