hi got a unmodified diesis 100 it kept cutting out like it was starved of fuel. took the carb apart and the jets were blocked. cleaned it and put it back on the bike. it idles fine but as soon as you touch throttle its cuts out, the plug is dripping wet. ive tried adjusting the airscrew and even when its fully wound in the plug is soaked and it dies. please help!!! thanks
ok thanks with mikuni carbs its the other way round i will give that a go. also the jets and needle position are all correct according to the manual
If the carb is well used and worn try lowering the needle (rase the circlip) making it a tuch leaner. To check the carb needle jet, romove the throttle slide look down at the needle jet with a torch. It should be a perfect circle. When they get worn they go a bit oval causing the bike to run richer between 1/4 and 3/4 throttle.
dont put full faith in a manual, my old suzuki one had me going straight over a berm into a bush flat out because i jetted it exactly to the book
finally got the little shit running, your right the manual is just a load of crap no help lol thanks for the info guys!!!
