sometimes start but then randomly cuts out :(

hi people i have a piaggio diesis all standard apart from leo vince zx exhaust, it sometimes starts but once it starts it revs it tits off then cuts out any suggestions?

 

sounds like fuel starvation, ie not enough fuel. If you put the choke on does it help lower the revs?

did you re jet when fitting the pipe

 

it has manual choke and no i didnt upjet when fitting the pipe but i have the pipe on for like 3weeks and it worked fine

 

what i meant was if you start and hold on the choke does it start and idle. as the choke will make it run richer.

and im pretty sure most people will agree whn i say most 2 strokes seize due to not re jetting when fitting sports pipes

 

it cant be sized because it starts and then cuts out, its more likely i think todo with the mixture screw
