i love my aerox. its looks and that but it goes 35mph as some of you are aware. i really want to be able to get this going good. does anybody have a clue what i could do. its meant to be derestriced. do you think it could be my viper exhaust, rollers what else? what size rollers should i buy and what else could i get or do to make it run. If i took this to a good garage would they be able to fix my problem??

if you need to no certain thigns ask me and ill try and find out about it.

take the exahaust off and see if the restriction is in there, then have a look at the variator, as it might not be derestricted afterall.

it also might not have been jetted properly, so if the restricting collar isnt in the exhaust check the jet because it might be too lean. also if the restricting collar is in the exhaust then still check the jet because someone might have upjetted without derestricting the exhaust, running rich.

you will sort this problem, theres no need to sell up and move on imo

well do you know what the carburettor is? and where it is?

basically, get a cup and put it under the hose coming from the bottom of the carb, and turn the screw next to the hose, that will drain the fuel out.

most people dont like disconnecting all the hoses, so if you just undo the manifold hose clip and take the airbox off, then turn the carb upside down and theres 2 screws, undo them and take the float bowl off, then u will see 3 brass fittings, undo the bigger one with a flat screwdriver and thats the jet, see what number is on it and post it on here, someone can help u after that because i dont know the standard jet.

i swear somewhere you said its had 5.5s fitted? try going down 0.5 grams, even doing that might not help if the jetting is out

even though theyre probably stupidly light, try mixing 3 2gs and 3 5.5 grams

From your wording it sounds like you're saying the rollers in there are 2g, that is probably why then, they are way too light, get some heavier ones about 4-5g and see what that does. Start with the easy stuff, like rollers and belt, then move onto jets if that doesnt do anything. Take the tranny case off and have a gander, make sure your belt isnt worn too much and everything looks sound, then get some heavier rollers from www.beedspeed.co.uk or some other shop, a selection of weights will be better, then go to your local bike shop and get them to fit them, then see if anything is improved...

    Then come back to us.

did you check for the restrictor in the exhaust like tin ribs??

take it your local bike shop and get a service onit if you want to avoid doing it your self as you clearly dont have a clue
