Cheeky bastards - mind it's not a rare thing to happen mates have had it where they come out & people have stole their number plates & one twat even tried stealing my mates number plate bracket.

Some people pinch tax disc's too, god knows why.. Totally useless to anyone.

People these days... Spend all their money on crack and smack so they cant afford a set of 50p L plates haha..

Theifs round my area are into stealing entire bikes at the moment, theres a younge lad down my road who's NRG power was stolen a few weeks ago, got recoverd luckly with minimal damage done. A Bandit 1200 went missing around the same time too.

Thats why I LOCK my shit up to the teeth, sleep with my bedroom window open (my bike is just outside), and have a 39cc petrol driven chainsaw under my bed at all times incase it happens to me.
If anyone broke into my house or tried stealing my ped they'd best hope I dont wake up, or they will be hearing the rawr of a chainsaw charging at them.

You can make a bracket off the front mudguard and tranny casing, then bolt the buggers on.. That way they will have to carry tools to unbolt your L plates, and if they cant afford L plates in the first place then they cant afford a spanner.
