some sort of ripper....

there seems to be a few computer wizzkids on here so i need some advice, cos im just pure shit at pc's

firstly im after a dvd ripper, well it needs to convert a dvd into mp4 or anything that will play on an iPhone

and....

can you reccomend something to backup all my files too? twice in the last year ive had to reboot my laptop and lost all my shit

 

see me on msn i have a prog for converting to mp4 etc.

and just upload everthing onto photobucket lol]

or ext hdd or use disks

 

is an ext hdd reliable tho?

i want something that cant crash if possible, just so i no that i ent gona lose all my shit again

no ino but they hold under 1 gb, and i had loadsa films that were about 2 gb each

so the ext hdd seems an option but only if its reliable

 

i have 750gb external bargain get one deffo!

if not that option get doublesided dvd discs?

 

a dvd is 4.7gb
