:( none of the scooter places round me seem to know anything about 4 strokes and i was sick of spending money on it to try and get it running properly so bye bye scoot got £550 for it as it was lad didnt hagle or anything, i must say i felt really guilty he loved the scoot a quick ride up and down the street and he wanted to hand over the cash and go he wouldnt listen to a word i said.
i tryed to explain i thort the headgasket was going or there was a problem with the carb, he didnt want to know.
his mate was worried about him, he could barely keep it upright and was wobbling all over the place he wouldnt listen to me about it bogging down and having to let the throttle off, i made him promis to text me when he got home he hasnt, i've been worried he didnt make it home.

and then ringing insurance to cancel policy it cost me £72 to cancel a £120 policy, taking the piss much:mad: i had a go at em then when my wife got in from work she rung em and using long fancy words got them to give us £50 back:cool: and theres a not on there computer if i ring them to re insure a scooter in the next 6 months i get a discount.
think i'll wait until the weather warms up then get a runner or an nrg.

its a certain date if you have been driving before then you dont need a cbt but after that date you do and have to redo it every 2 years from what i remember but could be wrong on that

from 1st feb 2001 if you have a full car licence you can drive upto a 125 without cbt, if you pass a car test after that you only have to take a cbt once

you always have to retake your cbt after 2 years theres never a reason that youd only have to take it once unless you get a full license in that 2 yrs

you dont need a cbt or L plates to ride a 50cc scoot if you passed your driving test before 2001, i wasnt sure so asked my insurance when i got my 1st 50,
i think the goverment make it so unclear on purpose there site is very confusing and bady worded.
