so i think i defo got a broken stator any advice b4 getting new 1

i brought this stator a couple months ago when i first started my 172 ice build of gumtree now that the bike should be ready to start no spark.

so ive checked the resistance and my red to brown which is for my pick up reads 108ohms which is good according to spec so i know the pick up is working but however my white to green which is the charge coil there is no resistance at all it should be at-least 50-100ohm. my multi meter dont even budge. and i know this is what charges my cdi for spark.

could it just be fully that the stator is toast because its not reading up to spec or could it be a ground issue which i think it isnt because ive checked everything multiple times .

also when i kick the bikes the lights dont even flicker like expected first time doing a build i can feel its got the right compression everything spark plug gets wet. my coil reads up to spec also.

any ADVICE before ordering a new one

 

can you not borrow one just to check that's the problem first
