Anyone know where i can get a new number plate made but a rather small but legal one it will be going on a side casing number plate holder.
Depends what your MOTer is like tbh. Mine couldn't care less like many others. Police in some areas go out looking specifically for illegal plates aswell so depends if you mind paying an occasional £60 fine also. You can get away with an inch or two smaller though most the time as long as it isn't too obvious
I used to assume if it passed it's MOT it must be road legal. My old bike came with a small plate that was also not very vertical. It passed without any trouble so I thought it must be fine. Next thing I know the old bill have got their bloody ruler out. My letters were 2mm too close together and the 3 wasn't an official font. £60 fine. Official font? Do me a favour! its either legal or not...no grey areas. There are however 2legal sizes of plates for bikes (cant remember the sizes tho')
