Slows down at full throttle then speeds up

I have bought a used Gilera Stalker and when I ride it around it seems fine except sometimes when I go to full throttle it seems to lose all power and then get it all back after 1 or 2 seconds

any thoughts?

 

i had this same problem but with my ARN 125. After a while i started loosing power for longer periods of time. until it died completely. Turns out it was a faulty wire to my regulator.

To test it. turn off all your electrics if possible and try then to see if theres a difference.

souds like too lean mixture, try adjusting air mixture screw
