    Hi guys,

i've not long had my speedfight 2 now. When i bought it, it had the standard exhaust on. I recently bought a Leo Vince TT exhaust for it and dremeled the restrictor out and already it has made a big difference. It can now accelerate alot quicker and gets to speeds of about 45mph, which compared to the other exhaust is a big difference.

With the exhaust came a set of red springs, and 6.7gram rollers. I swapped the rollers over today and it made it slower? So i put the originals back in and now its back to normal. So, my questions are:

    * What are the standard sized rollers that come in it?

    * What weight rollers do you guys reccomend?

    * What else could i buy to make it quicker? Jets?

Any help what so ever would be great,

    Regards,

    Sam.

You should have upjetted for the exhaust. If it runs well and your plug is the right colour then if it ain't broke don't fix it. With the rollers, stick with the ones that work best.

No, Mine did it. You need the rollers maybe 6 gram ones, 82 jet, the red clutch springs. Owned this bike with same pipe :)

Thanks for the replys guys. Bad news though. Was out riding yesterday and the bike lost all acceletation and cut out. Wouldn't start again so took it to a mates to try and find the problem. Did all the usual stuff like check for spark ect. We narrowed it down to the fuel running too lean which we think has caused a heat seizsure ( sp ). We checked the cylinder head for compression and was kicking out 20 psi. When we put a drop of 2 stroke down and did it again it was around 100psi.

What do you guys think it could be?

    Regards,

    Sam.

Tottaly pointless on a speedshite. Had a sport on mine. Was utter crap. (Mine was setup on a dyno too!). Sell it and buy a new bike mate.

So I've just bought a "Speedfight tuning 70cc Polini cylinder kit air cooled" as well as
1 Gurtner jet pack – contains 10 jets – sizes 50 > 72 from A-Pedstop. Will there be anything else i need to upgrade to or is it safe to just stick it all on?

    Regards.

You don't just stick it on :L Take bloody care with doing it ! poor plenty of oil in the cases, Cover the piston rings bore etc with good 2t oil. It will smoke a bitch but it's the best thing. Make sure you run it in 1/4 throttle 30-35mph for 300miles.

There'd two carbs for the speedfight. The electric oil pump is a 54 main jet standard. The cable oil pump is a 72 main jet standard

    Alright guys,

Not been on here for a while so thought i'd give an update. I've had the 70 kit put on and it all runs sweet as. Smoking a goodn' as well! Got a question: All the lads who I go out with say that I will need to upgrade my Crank Shaft becuase of the 70 kit i've got on it - (47mm - 70cc Polini Cylinder Kit . They are all saying that becuase it revs so high that it will just bugger it up. Is this true? Shall i get a new Crank Shaft before it breaks, or will it be fine?

    Regards,

    Sam.

If it's a polini sport then probably not. More chance of the bearings going than snapping a crank with one of them. As said above a lot more likely on a higher mileage engine but I wouldn't worry about it.

    Don't listen to your mates.

I've got a polini sport on my standard crank and have been running it for around 2-3000 miles without missing a beat.

Same bike as well , speedfight ac.
