Hi, My bike wont get moving for aagggeeeessss... It will rev at 7000 for about 10-15 seconds then suddenly start to increase until it gets up to 9000 revs. I have 7.5g rollers in with a standard variator and zx sports exhaust. Although sometimes this problem doesnt happen?!?! Also up hills I think i can walk faster?!?!?! Any help would be great. Cheers
what bike have you got? 7.5g weights sound heeavy and that would explain it, so try nocking them down to about 5.5g? possibly lower but id go around there.
Its on my piaggio nrg power... also, is it true that between the air box and carb theres a metal plate that restricts the air flow?!?! Cheers
im not 100% sure but i believe so, have a look and if there is, whip it out, you may have to upjet though, wait for more replies as im no expert
i found that the little brass plate made no difference at all what so ever, i think it was to smooth airflow into that carb.
tighten your spark plug, or replace the piston rings if the plug is already tight. (check your compression)
the plate equalizes the pressure in the carb. leave it alone till you have a bigger barrel (70 kit) rollers are deffo too heavy, for the third time
