slider smoking

my yamaha slider is smoking abit and i was woundering if anybody could help me, if they not what the problem is.. thanx

 

yeah the problem is you dont own it :bird: mite be not enough 2 stroke or 2 much :nerd:

what engine does the slider use how easy are parts to locate for them?

 

slider is a minarelli air cooled, parts are common as muck.


wouldnt worry about a bit of smoke, it means the pump is working
what oil do you use?

 

castrol super tt 2 stroke

 

how quickly is it using it?

it could be just your oil pump is too far advanced, you can adjust this with the cable that goes into the front of the left crankcase (where the variator is)

the cable should have a slight bit of slack then open when the throttle does.
