Sinnis Encanto 50cc Wont run EML

Hi Guys,

I have a 2018 50cc Sinnis encanto. The bike ran well until I recently switched out the CDI with an unrestricted one. The reason i did this is the revs quite noticeably fell away on the stock CDI when i hit around 29mph.

So I swapped the CDI with the new unit (bought off ebay for GY6 Engine) and the bike will start and idle fine but when you go to rev the bike as it hits the higher RPM's I get an EML come on and the bike engine starts to die out. I have tried going back to the stock CDI but I still have the same issue.

I have disconnected the battery for 30 mins and tried again. Still nothing.

Dunno what to try. Any suggestions please?

Wait EML? Is it fuel injection?
On a GY6?
