Silent block

    Is this silent block f****d? Is there any way to fix it so engine wont move back and forth so much?

    yeah thats shot out sorry to say. But they can be replaced , i would not just replace the shot out one i would be replacing both, could find the other is in a poor condition due to the extra stresses its been under as that one failed.

    Can i use silicone or something like that to fill in the silent block just to make it strong so the engine dosent move around so much for temporary time.

    there is really no quick fix, silicone will not have the meat to help hold motor. the bushing is a rubber compound and silicone i think will just be to soft to work right.

    really really needs new silent blocks fitted to it does not cause more damage along the line.

    Is that in a runner or sr?
    Looks like a runner to me.
    They are a pig to replace, trying to keep them straight so they go in right.
    I had some thick discs made so I could effectively use a big nut and bolt to "press" it into the hole.
    The blocks have a nylon outer to them, DO NOT CUT THE OUTER SHELL TO MAKE IT EASIER TO FIT.

    Have you got the spring that hold's the engine up in place?
