After changing the 4 nylon bushes and o rings on swingarm and tightening to specified torque, and also changing 2 outer engine bushes and rear suspension bush - i'm still getting quite a lot of sideways flex in the swingarm (more than my other 180 runner which has twice the kms). The only thing left to change is the large centre silent block.

I was under the impression that this was mainly there to reduce vibration. Has anyone found that replacing theirs tightened up the rear end??

Mine doesn't appear to be torn or anything like that and bike had only done 17000km before I got it but could have been hard kms I guess. I'm considering getting an uprated solid polyurethane one (italian petit pest 45 shra or similar).

Has anyone got any experience with these?

I went for the standard rubber engine mounts rather than the PM type ones as I didn't want too much vibrations through the bike. From the reports that I have read about these uprated silent blocks they don't do this but I am sceptical.

    Cheers.

Have you fitted the nylon bushes right? The steel spacer needs to be slightly longer through the nylon bushes 1/2-1 mm or it will lock it all up on the frame.
