I'm losing compression, checked head and bore inside is good health, but the ring its self is really lose, its not tight fit and can easily move around and flop off. Check my old piston and there tight fit snug. Shot ring?

The piston ring is supposed to be loose on the piston when it's out the bore, it's spring effect keeps it tight against the bore lining to create the compression. Just make sure that the ring opening lines up against the pin on re-assembly.
The tell-tale sign of either a worn ring, sticky ring or a bore going oval is the black soot going past the ring and half way down the piston sides, as seen here:

Have you done a compression test to verify you are losing compression via the piston and not somewhere else?

i think you may find mechanic will also say the barrels worn in and the ring has set ok to, hence why it does not feel really really tight now.
in cold weather the metals shrink a little making things a little bit looser, in summer they heat up quicker and feel a little tighter.

ask mech to run a compression test and a leakdown test. it will show if you have any loss.
Piston looks ok and ring to, head looks fine also . new gaskets should seal everything back up sweet.

    Yeah I checked

Just so curious to know what had kept my bike off the road for so long.

That's also correct mate, all he said he can do is leak, compression test, and check my vacuum...just hope it ain't a engine split it costs so much Labour

if its a crank leak it tends to be only the oil seals, they can be popped out and replaced without splitting the engine in half.

lets see what he says its hard for us to do a diagnosis via forum without the motor infront of us. hopeful its just something trivial like a leaking vacuum or a shot oil seal and thats gonna be a hour or so job nothing super major.
