does a side stand connect to the same place as the center stand? the guy that had the bike before me said it snapped off but the bracket is still on the bike, but one of the nuts has lost its head and is stuck in but the other is out and thread is ok... so was wondering if a side stand has different fitting points so i dont have to drill it out and tap/ dye it.... thanks Joe.
yes but i was just seeing if anyone knew what the fitting was.. i have another center stand bt wont go on for reasons in which i have explained so does anyone know wether its the same fitting or not
they have nothing to do with centre stand it should be on the left side of ur bike near the foot board check .
i dont think i have explained.. i havent got a side stand yet i.. i didnt buy one incase it fitted to the same place as the centre stand.. i was wondering wether it did or not as my center stand or whats left of it is stuck on lol....thanks joe.
on my yamaha slider on the frame to the left hand side under the foot panel theres a proper hole to screw it into your bike should have the same if you can buy 1 for it theres a fitting for it
