Looks like you put the L plate in a place that will fit when parked n layed the numberplate on the tyre? :confused:cratch:

made a simple L-shaped bracket for the numberplate which is attached to the swingarm on the right, it's about 3/4inch off the wheel then the L plate is just a plastic one, not a solid one which is taped to the top of the numberplate and the bottom of the under tray.

I need to find a bracket to fix the number plate to the undertray and get a solid L plate

Ah right got ya. I don't think it will work mate.

As it is attached to the exhaust bracket AND the undertray, the suspension play will pop that L plate straight out. The numberplate looks a bit odd but won't be affected by the suspension. But if it is only held on by one side it could flap a bit and maybe get caught on the wheel.

A bracket I might be making for my undertray on the VX is a T on the undertray, joining to a T for the numberplate. So the to flat bits of the T are next to eachother, but bent for the angle of the numberplate. Looking from behind you will see a T without the numberplate on.

    Make sence?

Didn't understand your T bracket idea, but
Don't forget the Lplate is gloss paper so it just bends with the suspension, there's nothing rigid on the L plate. It's one of them magnet ones i found in tesco but ripped the magnets off. When I do get a bracket I'll have to move the L plate.
It's all good, I just think the angle is too flat, but can't put it upright because it would be too close to the wheel

    :good:

Where can I get a bracket where I can just use lug screws to attach it to the undertray?

How did you tighten a door hinge into place so it doesn't keep swinging about?

I was pretty sure I already posted this... I think I might of closed instead of posting lol, anyway-

No surprise but I was pulled up on the last one so I flipped the bracket round. Still waiting for another numberplate though.
