Should I do small end bearing when doing rings?

    My SP180 has done 33000km so I was going to do the rings. Is it easy to do the small end bearing while i'm at it and is it something I should do?

    if they're fairly cheap it'd pay to do it whilst the top end is off. If you're unsure or they're not cheap just check the piston for up and down movement on the conrod (usual to have side to side movement)...if there's any play replace it anyway

    if you do it, make sure you replace the circlips too!
