Should I buy an aerox?

Im considering buying an aerox to mod but i have no idea what they are like performance wise.

For instance at the moment i ride an ooold yamaha jog ('91 jap import) and that thing knocks on the door of 45mph and i have still yet to derestrict it.

What kind of performance can I expect from a bog standard aerox? And if the perfomance is not that great how much would I be looking at to get it to do arond the 50mph mark?

bog standard nit should be hitting 30, derestrict exhaust and variator looking at 40-45. If you want it up to 50mph u could go for a 70 kit, bigger carb, aftermarket exhaust

 

nar the rox will do 50 derestricted with a pipe and variator

Are they decent bikes? I dont want to be buying one thats prone to breaking down loads etc, i dont have a lot of money to soare really.

The prices dont seem too bad on them, ive seen a few on ebay go for under £450

 

Yer mate, mines fine . runs sweet, they not that slow either compared to some 50cc you can get lol

Aerox's are great peds Mine done just about 50ish clock speed with de restricted exhaust and variator.... Now does about 55ish with a leo vinci pipe on
