So my 250cc scooter had shocks on that were roughly 350mm long. One was cracked so I found some spare shocks that I had but they were only 300mm so I fitted them with 40mm extenders, total 340mm. They feel stiff, sag between wheel off ground and rider sat on was just 14mm. Is that okay or is it too stiff. I’ve not ridden it yet as I’ve got a few more bits to do before it hits tarmac. I’m not sure what the ballpark figure for 250cc scooters are.
