Thinking of fitting a 70 kit in the next few months (pretty seriously). Standard 2007 Piaggio Ice,Leovince TT blablabla, done about 3000 miles MAX. Would it be ok to fit the Polini 70 for £70 and it will cost me £50 to get it 'fitted' at 'Nelsons'. This is the 70 kit i have in mind.

So will this be ok to 'wack' straight on and go as such. I know i have to upjet 10-15%,will i have to do anything else? New rollers? (got 5.6 in there now) And what atual difference will it make..accel,top speed etc? I get about 51-53 on a longish flat straight at the moment. Cheeers. P.S I WILL PROBBABLY ORDER THE 70KIT FROM PM TUNING AS I HEARD BSH CAN BE PRICKS AT TIMES?

dont pay a shop to fit it!! this is how they scam they say you need this and that while fitting the part wich arent true so they can make money off labour etc fit it yourself at you will look after it better!! up 2 you really if u dont trust yourself doin it then yes pay a shop but its just saving you goin 50 pound out off pocket!!

Thanks a lot fellas. True about paying someone local who knows what there doing, but by the time ive paid petrol prices & labour for them it will probbably be about the same as 'Nelsons' anyway.. Niceone kyle, how was that running? Acel, top speed etc? Not sure if its worth doing or just waiting out and saving the cash until its 125 time.

theyre right, i will drive most places, and im not expensive haha

can give you a hand giving it a rough setup aswell, obviously you will need to check it throughout running in etc, but choice is yours dude.

see, how nice are we.. so swift doing it means you will have somone with a clue fitting/setting it up taking as long as it takes to do properlky not as long as they feel like rushing it for then charging you double labour. also got alot more comeback than a shop as tuning parts are given NO warerenty when fitted.., usually fitted/setup incorrectly to gain more work from you. and if swift does it you will b e able to next time as he will show you as he goe's..
