Hi there after following on getting my ped back from the crappy dealer. They fitted a new piston about 10 diffrent jets and new fuel cable they also took my Polini variater out and put in a yamaha one. It now runs but runs really really slow builds up the revs and then will revout off the clock. I mean it will do like 5mph of a juntion and slowly speed up. I want to put my polini back in there, I spoke to somebody at pedstop and he said I need 3.6-4.0 gram in there so I ordered both of those and a locking tool. I have never fitted a variatior before so how do you do it? What about the belt etc? I also had a look in there to make sure he had done what he said even though I never paided and it looked like my clutch bell housing thingy has heated up at some point and had a blue part on it is that bad? It was only in one spot. Will I need to change the jetting once I have got the polini back in there or should it be ok? Really looking forwards to just getting it done again! Any help will be really helpful. I also need a couple of parts for the ped if anybody has anything laying about. 1x front mudguard 1x Rear shock Chears Phil
ring the cunts up and get your variator back No you wont have to upjet changing the variator no it isnt hard doing the variator get a impact gun argos do them for £30
I already have my polini, I live in peterborough! I bought the locking tool he said I won't need a impack gun? Does that weight sound about right with the exhaust etc?
It has 5g in the standard one Ill try the 3.6 if not then the 4.0gram if not gonna have to sell both sets and get more lol! I watched a couple of videos it doesnt look to bad todo. I also need to fit my speedo cable but there just screw in I assume? Thats how it looks! Also anybody got a rear shock mine is pretty dead and bouncy! Also what pads do people recomend I need a set for front and back there down to 1MM!!!
yeah screws in mate the speedo the rear shock any 1 will do tbh and tires pilot sports are good in wet and dry mate

Got a problem! I just was looking at the rollers in the polini I thought they were 3G cause I only weighted one! But there are 3x3g and 3x5. I have ordered 3.6 and 4.0 gram! So I think I just wasted 18 quid! I am going to need like 4.5? 5gram? Chears Phil
you may have wasted £9 as that would make it 4 but how were they in the variator? Like did it go 333555 or 353535 ?
353535 I guess Ill just have to order some 4.6 and 4.9 gram where do you guys all order from? I can try and sell the other to packs.
Put the 4g in there yesterday was alot easyer than I thought it would of been! The ped is fine now. Flys compaired to how it was. Will wheelie quite easly! Just need to get a rear shock now!
